From R62 & Mosselbay
Enter Oudtshoorn with Voortrekker Road. At the third set of traffic lights, turn left into Baron van Reede street. Follow the road (R328) out of town, direction Cango Caves for approximately 15 km.
From George
Enter Oudtshoorn with Langenhoven Road. Keep straight ahead into Baron van Reede street through town. Follow the road (R328) out of town, direction Cango Caves for approximately 15km.
From De Rust
Enter Oudtshoorn with Voortrekker Road. At the third set of traffic lights, turn right into Baron van Reede street. Follow the road (R328) out of town, direction Cango Caves for approximately 15 km.
After 13km you enter Schoemanspoort. Mountains will close around the road. 2km further, just around the bend after Old Mill Restaurant, you will find De Poort Country Lodge is on the right. Look for face brick buildings with thatch roofs.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two guesthouses of similar architecture on one property. Please make use of the SECOND entrance – it is marked with two natural brick walls and signs reading De Poort Country Lodge.
